Keran H. Souare (known as Plus_Meister online) is an Ivorian-American multimedia artist located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with a focus on printmaking, risography and zines through an intermezzo of illustration, graphic design, photo-editing and typography. Having spent their teenage years completely obsessed with all things related to Punk Rock, Grindcore and Power-violence as well as activism and critical theory regarding blackness this backround and a lifetime living in the American South has greatly influenced their work. Above all their go to elements when creating are volatility, themes of afrofuturism, punk inspired DIY ethic and extreme uncompromising visual power that demands to take up space and holds no punches. This is most evident in their zines.
Professionally they specialize in concert flyers, advertising, band merchandise, web design, branding, album covers and illustration and have primarly worked with various streetwear brands, record labels, zines, rave collectives and bands since 2019 having made dozens of flyers for punk and emo shows.
